According to tmz Kim Kardashian filed for divorce Monday morning, after 72 days of not-so-wedded bliss to Kris Humphries citing  ”irreconcilable differences.”

The date of separation is listed as today, Oct. 31, 2011.  According to the docs, Kim wants Kris to foot his own lawyers’ fees and she’ll pay hers.  And, she wants the court to reject any move by Kris to get spousal support. Kim has hired  Laura Wasser, who has repped the likes of Britney Spears, Maria Shriver, Angelina Jolie, Ryan Reynolds, and Robyn Gibson, Mel’s almost ex-wife.

Kim Kardashian and Kris both had a prenup. Kim says:

“I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision,” she says in a statement to E!, which airs her reality shows. “I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.”

The beautiful over the top wedding  paid  by  E!  costed around $20 million. What a waste. The two barely seem to spend quality time together. Now that Kris isn’t working due to the NBA lockout he’s just partying away instead of  attempting to bring in some income or even hitting up the gym. And that doesn’t sit well Kim. She’s a kardashian!  The two argued over where they would reside and when to have kids. Kimmy wanted to stay in California and Kris wanted to live on the east coast eventually retiring to his hometown of Minnesota.

Shouldn’t these life changing  topics  have taken place before big foot proposed?
