Avril Lavigne won’t be hooking up with Brody anytime soon. The 27 year old punk rockster is engaged to Nickelback’s 37 y/o singer Chad Kroeger. According to reports the two got together earlier this year to write songs for her upcoming fifth album.
At the time, she tweeted a photo of Kroeger playfully hugging her, captioned, “Bro’ing out with Chad Kroeger in the studio.” What began as a working collaboration grew into romance, and Kroeger popped the question August 8th.
On why her clothing line is named Abbey Dawn:
“Because I’m Abbey Dawn: it was my nickname when I was growing up and it was the first alias I used when I didn’t want people to know which hotel I was staying at.”
On her cooking specialty went on tour:
“I make a lot of salads with homemade salad dressing and I can do some good vegan soups, but to be honest I can make anything. I can make Italian.
