Drake made a few comments in a Rolling Stone magazine article about Hov always rapping about art. He said,
“It’s like Hov can’t drop bars these days without at least four art references. I would love to collect [art] at some point, but I think the whole Rap/art world thing is getting kind of corny.”
Jay z clapped back at the Canadian rapper with this response on Jay Electronica’s freestyle “We made it” remix
“Sorry Mr. Drizzy for so much art talk/Silly me, rappin’ ’bout sh*t that I really bought / While these rappers rap about guns that they ain’t shot / And a bunch of other silly sh*t that they ain’t got.”
However it’s not the first time Drake has come after Jay. He seemed to make reference to Jay Z and Kanye West on his track ”I’m On One,” with the lyrics, “I’m just feelin’ like the throne is for the taking. Watch me take it.”
In the same article, Drake admits that he wasn’t in good graces with Kanye and Jay at one point. ”It was a lack of communication paired with natural competitiveness,” Drake says in the piece. “But those two are gods to me.”
Do you think Drake will come back with a few bars?

“First of all, happy birthday to J. Cole. It’s his birthday but he’s giving out gifts,” Jay said to the crowd, before turning to him. “So I think it’s only right that you get a gift. That, on your neck, is my original Roc chain — and it’s yours.” It was almost impossible to hear Cole over the eruption of cheers, but we’re pretty confident that he joked, “That’s all I even really wanted, that’s why I did it,” before thanking his mentor and begging for one more track.
J. Cole graciously accepted the chain and even tweeted “unbelievable”.
By the time Cole started peforming ”Forbidden Fruit,” Cole said ”I’ma drop the album same day as Kanye,” as an opportunity to celebrate with fans the fact that he’d,”f—ed around and sold more albums than Kanye.”

Jay z is being sued for $600 million by an entrepreneurwho claims that he trademarked the name “Brooklyn Nets” long before the NBA team ever moved out of New Jersey.
“Dr. Francois de Cassagnol, filed a pro se complaint with the Eastern District of the State of New York on December 9, 2013, asking for a juried trial over the matter — and $600 million in damages, at least… de Cassagnol claims that the NBA, Jay Z, and developer Bruce Ratner ”fraudulently conspired” to use “loopholes” in the U.S. Patent Office so that they could use a term he says he registered more than ten years ago. Indeed, documents submitted as evidence show that de Cassagnol filed applications in 2012 for “The Brooklyn Nets Entertainment Logo,” which was first used in the State of Louisiana back in 2003.”
Jay Z sold his shares of the team to Jason Kidd late last year after opening his own sports agency firm. He still owns a percentage of the Nets’ home, Barclays Center.
