After 22 years of marriage, Kris and Bruce Jenner have separated. The couple confirmed the split to E! News following months of rumors that their marriage was on the rocks.
“We are living separately and we are much happier this way,” the reality TV royalty confirmed to E!. “But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority.”
Bruce, 63, has been living in his luxurious Malibu home while Kris remains in the family’s Hidden Hills, Calif., mansion. He has gotten especially close to his two son Brody and Brandon.
Bruce revealed, “Kris has her own place and I have my own place. There’s no animosity. Everything is good.”
When asked about getting a divorce, he added, “We’re not going there. I have my family, I have my kids. All my time is filled.”
Kris’ son Rob Kardashian also weighed in on the matter, “[Bruce has] been in my life since I was two years old and that will never change and same obviously with my mom … same with my sisters, there’s no bad blood. Even between my mom and Bruce there’s no negative, bad blood … I don’t think they can be in a happier place right now.”
Brody and Brandon Jenner allegedly blame Kris for taking their father away from them when they were growing up, according to TMZ sources.
After the couple married in 1991, Brody and Brandon felt abandoned by their biological dad when they were left to be raised by their mom Linda Thompson and her new husband, David Foster. David Foster is a multi-millionaire in his own right by the way. TMZ’s sources claim the boys felt Kris convinced their dad to leave them for his new family.
Brandon and Brody reportedly know that Bruce did not pay child support for 10 years and then gave $1,500 a month afterward, and they think it’s because Kris was calling the shots.
Not too much is ever mentioned about Bruce eldest kids Burt and Cassie from his first marriage. Bruce is worth a reported 1$25 million dollars and there is no pre-nup.
Do you think the two will eventually file for divorce?
