44 year old music manager Chris Lighty committed suicide in his Bronx apartment. He was was a longtime manager of 50 Cent, Diddy, Ja Rule and Mariah Carey.
Law enforcement sources said Lighty — who divorced his wife last year — may have been dealing with financial struggles, including owing about $5 million to the IRS.
Chris Lighty was founder of Violator Management, merged with another talent company to form Primary Violator around the time his divorce.
